Procedure:

Indications:
Frown lines,  brow lines or furrows in the upper face caused by over active facial muscles. In women or men who want a simple and fast procedure to eliminate wrinkles with little downtime and who prefer to avoid surgery.

Considerations:
Botox has been used in clinical practice for over 20 years and has proven to be very safe as long as you use FDA products for clinical use like BOTOX® Cosmetic. We always recommend to confirm the product.

The effects of botox may last for 3-6 months and results may vary.

Some people feel a heaviness in their brow, think they droop when they actually do not.

Not all areas are safe to inject. Consult with your surgeon of any areas that should be avoided.

Botox is most effective for areas that have active muscle. If there is no muscle activity, you will not benefit from the injection. In this case, fillers will be more appropriate.

Procedure description:
All procedures are performed by the plastic surgeon. He will discuss with you your concerns and identify the exact locations for each injection. In a comfortable and soothing environment, he carefully injects very small amounts of the Botox. A slight and short lasting stinging is experienced by some. The surgeon will also specifically discuss with you the number of units used.
